Miguel Alba was born in Argentina on the 14 August 1988. He joined our Club in the January Transfer Market 2017.
Miguel had spells in Argentina for most of his career, before he moved to seek new pastures in Colombia, Chile and Cyprus.
He moved to Cyprus in the 2015-2016 season where he joined Paphos FC. He made fourteen appearances and scored three goals. During the following season, he moved to Ermis Aradippou FC. 
Miguel moved to Malta and joined Birkirkara on 29 January 2017. He made his debut in a match against Hibernians FC (2-1). With the Stripes Miguel Alba made 12 appearances and scored six goals.
Miguel Alba joined Valletta F.C. during the January 2018 transfer market window. The Argentine played a key role for the Lilywhites in their Premier League title in season 201-2019, when he was also named as the best overseas player in the Premier League.

During summer 2019, the Argentine midfielder opted not to extend his contract with Valletta and decided to rejoin Birkirkara, the club who had brought him to Malta a few years ago.

However, his move to Birkirkara failed to leave the desired dividends for Alba who has fallen out of favour with the Birkirkara administration and in fact he was not in the plans of coach Andre Paus, Birkirkara released Alba, who made eight appearances with the club and scoring four goals. He rejoined Valletta FC in during the January 2019 transfer period.
