Valletta F.C. attend MFA Integrity Tour 2014 Published on: 27-01-2014

As part of a campaign against corruption titled “Say No to Match-Fixing” the Malta Football Association is organising tours between Premier Division clubs and all the First Division clubs.

The programme is being presented by the Integrity Officer of the association who, in conjunction with a representative of our partners Sportradar AG , have put up a concise workshop session of 45 minutes mainly exposing the dangers connected with match-fixing. The main objective of this educational initiative is to highlight the difficult situation that football is facing and to make the players aware of the dangers associated with it and point out the obligations of each and every stakeholder in the game.

The Valletta squad together with the technical staff, nursery players and club officials attended the Tour which was held this evening at the Vivaldi Hotel in St Julians.

Participants will, at the end of the Tour be given access to an E-Learning session which will guide them through a tutorial in the comfort of their home. All those who attended the Tour were able to ask questions and find out how they can tackle negative situations.

All clubs will be awarded a Certificate of Participation and a copy of the Anti Manipulation Code will be distributed to all players.
