Champions Valletta will play a pre-season friendly against Cagliari in Sardinia on August 11.A contingent containing 18 players, 6 staff and committee members will be leaving Malta to Olbia (Sardinia) to play a friendly match against Cagliari FC. The squad will leave on Friday 10th August at 17:30 on a Medavia chartered flight. The friendly match will be played on Saturday 11th in Olbia, kick-off 21:00hrs.
At the present, Cagliari are at the end of their pre-season training ahead of the forthcoming Seria A season. Cagliari are barred from playing at old Sant Elia Stadium due to safety concerns, the team will be playing all their home matches next season at the Stadio Comunale Is Arenas.
Valletta will return to Malta on Sunday 12th at 10:30. There are some seats left for anyone who would like to travel with the squad, price is €350 all included (full board and flights).
