Valletta meet FK Partizan tonight at Stadion FK Partizan in Belgrade for the second leg of the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round kick-off 20:45hrs.

The Citizens are looking to bow out on a better note after the 4-1 defeat to Serbian champions last week at the Hibs Stadium. The City’s coach is urging his players to show that they are a much better side than the one of last Tuesday.

Brazilian players Jhonnattan and Jussellio was released by the club, both players are on trial with Birkirkara FC. Midfielder Gabriel, who came as a substitute last Tuesday is likely to start tonight. Striker Leonardo da Silva Almeida, another newcomer has also made the trip with the Citizens to Serbia.

Media reports are stating that Vladimir Vermezovic Partizans’ mentor has a few injuries for tonight’s match, Lazar Markovic and Goran Lovre are both doubtful.

The referee for tonight’s match is A. Sidiropoulos from Greece.
