Valletta President Victor Sciriha has reversed his decision to quit, following pressure from supporters.
He had been considering his position after three successive defeats for the City.
A number of fans called at the club yesterday, urging him to stay on.
"After such a tremendous show of support from the fans, I couldn't just quit," Sciriha said.
"We must analyse what went wrong and start planning for the new season."
Meanwhile, the Valletta players have been summoned to appear before the Valletta committee on Friday.
