Roderick Bajada joins Valletta on loan Published on: 30-01-2012

A product of the Hamrun Spartans Nursery, Bajada made his debut in the premier league in season 2000-01. Following the relegation of his home town club Hamrun Spartans in 2004 Roderick joined Msida St Joseph.
In January 2006, Roderick joined Sliema Wanderers making a total of 90 appearances and scoring ten goals. In season 2009, Sliema Wanderers signed Clayton Failla and Ryan Fenech leaving Roderick’s first team appearances limited and he joined Marsaxlokk F.C. on loan. Unfortunately his new team was relegated to the First Division following a corruption case and Roderick ended playing in the First Division.
At the end of season 2010, Bajada returned back with Sliema Wanderers. Bajada’s contract with Sliema Wanderers will expire at the end of season 2011-2012, Roderick will likely be offered a permanent transfer with the Citizens if he impresses during his loan spell.
On behalf of the club’s official website we would like to wish a warm welcome to Roderick within our squad.
