Today Valletta FC will be meeting Sliema Wanderers at the National Stadium Ta Qali, kick-off 17:00hrs.
Although the chance to win the league is getting harder every weekend, we still have important points to work hard for. The Citizens will target another positive performance in order to obtain another three points.
Today our coach, Mark Miller will have to do without, international midfielder Roderick Briffa, who is still recovering from a knee injury and Ryan Fenech who is not 100% fit. From the other side Sliema Wanderers will be without Ian Zammit who received a red card during the last match and midfielder Mark Scerri also suspended. Defender Jason Vandelannote and Jonathan Caruan both return for the Lilywhites after serving a one-match suspension.
Three points from today's match will bring us ahead of Sliema and two points behind Hibernians, which tomorrow will face the leaders Birkirkara.
