Following last Saturday's win, Champions Valletta will be aiming for another three points tomorrow evening against bottom placed Pieta.
Valletta started their league campaign with a defeat against Mosta, during their second match they were held in goalless result against Tarxien, they won the first three points against Floriana and lost their fourth match against Hibs (1-2). During the last two matches the Citizens scored a total of 9 goals, (5-0) against Sliema W and (4-0) against Qormi.
City’s coach Gilbert Agius will have to do without several players for tomorrow’s match, currently recovering from injuries.
Pieta are currently at the bottom of the table with 1 point. They lost their first and second match match against Birkirkara (1-2) and Mosta (0-1), they shared the spoils in a goalless result against Tarxien and lost their last three matches against Floriana, Hibs and Sliema W.
The match will be played at the National Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
