Next opponent is Hibernians! Can we stop the run that the team from Paola had for the last 3 games? We will be there on the field to show everyone that we are Valletta FC, and we will be committed to get out of Ta Qali with a hand full of points.
Hibernians started this season's campaign on a very high note, and they are flying high with three wins from three games that they played till now. Their attack is one of the most dangerous in the League and from this game Hibs will introduce their last signing, the international defender Andrei Agius, who signed with the Paolities in the last hours of the transfer market.
On our side, in this game we will have missing our International defender Jonathan Caruana. Jonathan will be ruled out for the coming 3 to 4 weeks due to a muscular injury. Missing too from our squad this week will be Christian Caruana and forward Ian Zammit, both of our players are suffering from a swelled ankle. On a positive side, our new winger Brazilian Alex Terra will be with the eighteen squad for the first time this season after putting pen on paper with Valletta in the last minutes of the Transfer market.
We are all aware that this is one of the supporters games, and for that we will be pretending that all of you all our beloved supporters will be there behind your team to give all the support and help to our team with your chants. The players need to hear your voices while supporting them and I am pretty sure that with your support, we will be playing with an extra player. That is why you are considered as the 12th man.
