Tomorrow, we will meet our arch rivals Floriana FC at the National Stadium Ta Qali for the third game of this year's Premier League campaign.
We have started on a very low start this season. Although the team is creating a lot of chances, we are finding it very hard to score. We failed to collect the three points despite holding the initiative for long stretches, earning just a point in a goalless draw with Tarxien Rainbows at the Victor Tedesco Stadium on Saturday evening. This was yet another disappointing result for us, after losing to Birkirkara in the BOV Super Cup and suffering a narrow defeat to Mosta in our first league outing a fourth night ago. On the other hand, for Tarxien, this was the second draw in as many matches.
A win and three points out of this coming match against Floriana are more than a must for us. This type of derby game is a must for us to win for the sake of the points and most of all for our supporters.
We as a team are trying all our best to settle this team as soon as possible and make you all our beloved supporters happy as we did last May.
Remember one thing...... The winner of the league is that team that ends up first on the last day of the championship.
