Preview: UBet FA Trophy vs Qormi Published on: 19-05-2012
After being crowned as champions last Saturday, all Valletta players, staff and supporters celebrated for long hours the well deserved 21st title. Now we look forward to end this magical season on a very high note, by moving to our next obstacle, that is the semi final of the U-Bet FA Trophy.Next Sunday we will be meeting Qormi FC in the first semi final, the winner from this game will be meeting in the final, the winner of Monday's other Semi final between Hibernians and Hamrun Spartans. As usual we will be the hot favourites to pass for the final match, but Qormi will sure not give us a simple walk away. We will be expecting a hard cup tie as usual.
Our coach Jesmond Zerafa will be having all the squad for this semi-final, with the only exception of the right defender Mady Panandetiguiri, after collecting his fourth yellow card in the last game of the league and therefore he will be ruled out of the trophy semi-final.
After seeing all of you very happy last week, celebrating I am pretty sure that you will be there again on Sunday giving us the full support as ever. Thanks for everything.
Valletta and Qormi met twice this season, Valletta managed to win both matches 3-1 and 4-1 repectively.
