The last game of the season is with us yet again. Tomorrow we play the Reigning Champions Birkirkara at the National stadium kick-off 17:00. After 16 years history might repeat itself!
The stripes have the advantage of two results, a draw and a win will crown them champions for the second consecutive time. This season Birkirkara were in most of the time leading the championship and even more the most consistent of all the Premier league teams, so that will surely put them as the favourites in tomorrow's encounter.
On our side, our coaches will have yet again a good and positive headache to choose the squad for this very important encounter, as they will have availability of full squad. Only a win will satisfy us, but, in my opinion these kind of situations will make us more stronger than ever. Tomorrow, we will go there to win and nothing less, and with the atmosphere that is reigning right now in our clan I must admit that although it will not be easy, for sure it will not be impossible.
You our beloved supporters will be there with us in thousands as usual, and I am sure that again you will show all Malta that no one is better than you are. I cannot promise you that we win for sure, but I am going to promise you that we are going to do our best to see you in heaven tomorrow. Right now in my mind I have the clear picture of two years ago when all the players and staff arrived in the entrance of Valletta upon the double decker, I was astonished with the sea of people I was seeing in front of me. I want to go again through that unbelievable experience and I am more than sure that you want the same as much as myself.
Yes we can and all together I am sure that WE CAN.
