Preview: Day 25 vs Mosta Published on: 07-03-2014

This coming Sunday we will meet Mosta FC for the third match of the first round in Championship pool, the game will be played at Ta’ Qali at 14:00hrs.
 
Mosta are coming from a heavy loss against the reigning champions B'Kara which was played before the stop for the National team commitment. Right now the Blues of Mosta are in the fifth place with 22 points just 2 points behind Hibernians. With such a small difference in points between the third place and the latters, nothing is impossible for Mosta to make their effort for one of the places in Europe.
 
On our side, we should keep the pace with the leaders and nothing less than a win will satisfy the Valletta clan. Our coaches will have all the squad available for next Sunday's match, except for our Maltese sticker JP Mifsud Triganza which is suffering from a tight muscle in his right foot.

It seems that we will not have many changes from the starting eleven of our last game against Hibernians.
 
As you all know, the past week was full of contravenes regarding the national team appointments. Without going again in the subject, I truly believe that what happened was the cherry on the cake to make us all be more and more united between us all. As I already appealed in the club’s official forum, we need to be there all together on Sunday for this game and for all the other games remaining. The players need you; the players are waiting for your support as always. Let’s be all together and I am sure that at the end of April we will pay back to you all the sacrifices that you do all year round.
