Preview: Day 21 vs Birkirkara Published on: 01-02-2014

The D-Day tomorrow is the battle between the first positioned B'Kara against our beloved team Valletta F.C. If the weather does not persist on raining hard this most awaited game will be played at the National Stadium Ta'Qali at 16:00.

Our next opponents B'Kara seems to be geared up as they are presently in the first place six points above us. The stripes are a very good side and the table right now is showing that. They were consistent  through out the first two rounds and the team to beat. For this game B'Kara will be without their International defender Joseph Zerafa which is suspended due to the accumulation of the fourth yellow card while Rowen Muscat and the Serbian Nikola Vucanac are also doubt full.

On the other hand Valletta, will be looking for nothing less than a win, so we can keep the pace with the leaders. Our coaches, will have a big headache to choose the eighteen especially the six foreigners that have to make part of the squad. There can be some debuts in this encounter, but there will not be any tremors in the squad that will face B'Kara tomorrow afternoon.

Coach Andre Paus will be debuting on the bench with us alongside Coach Mark Miller and Coach Gilbert Agius. We will have Denni Dos Santos absent from our squad for tomorrow's match, Denni is recovering from a Hamstring tare.  Lateef Elford is also missing, he is  recovering from a tight muscle injury. Defender Luke Dimech is also msssing, Luke is still recovering from a Knee operation. Happy to say that another youngster from the Youths team Ian Montanaro, will be making his first appearance on the bench with the white shirt of Valletta.

Ending as always, You must be there tomorrow behind us as you did always. We cannot let the stripes supporters outnumber us! We should always be the strongest, we should always be the bravest, we should always be the loudest, we should always be there as the number 12 and last and not least we should always be there for VALLETTA FC. The team which should be our HEARTH and SOUL.

WE ARE ONE WE ARE VALLETTA FC.

Good luck

Jerry.
