After a weekend without Premier League football, this weekend we play the thirteenth day of the program. On Sunday we will face our eternal rivals Floriana FC and one of the most awaited derbies for our supporters.
Floriana are right now in the eight place of the table. Taking in consideration that they started this championship with six points less, the greens did not do badly at all.
On our side, this is a win game as usual. A win on Sunday helps us to stay attached with B'kara and Hibs, which they play Balzan and Vittoriosa respectively.
Mark Miller will have to adjust a bit the team from our last game against Melita in the trophy, as new striker Lateef Elford has some muscular problems and will be out for the coming two weeks. Hamza Barry is still recovering from a knee injury which left him out of action for the past six weeks.
For Sunday's game there should be a debut for the other new Spanish defender Oscar Reyes Sanchez. Oscar signed with us two weeks ago after a spell of two years that he had with Ekranas in Lithuania.
I urge you all Valletta supporters, to come and support your team on Sunday. Your support is vital to the players and hearing you chanting and singing gives the team a huge boost as if we will be playing with an extra player. The 12 the player that makes all the difference, the extra push that we have from all the other teams.
