Preview: 9th Match vs Rabat Ajax Published on: 26-10-2012
Our ninth game of the first round, this is the third from last to the finish of the first round.
Our next opponent is Rabat Ajax. The Magpies are currently in the last place and are seeking their first win, they only have two points that they claimed against Melita and Hamrun Spartans.
Rabat's commitments where up to satisfaction in most of their games and I am sure that today they will try their best too. Even more we will be playing this fixture in the Hamrun Ground which will be an advantage for the Magpies. The Magpies will have to do without club talisman Adam Smeir, the striker is recovering from an injury obtained during last Saturday’s match.
We will go all out for the three points. The Lillywhites defeated rivals Floriana last weekend and moved six points clear from the second and third placed B'Kara and Hibernians respectively.
We will surely try to increase the gap as the latter will be playing each other this weekend. This week our Gaffer has to make it without Edmond Agius and Ian Azzoppardi as they are still recovering from injuries.
