The BOV Premier League comes to end today with the final match between Valletta and Hibernians kick-off 16:00hrs. For the second consecutive year Valletta managed to win the BOV Premier League. Valletta were declared champions on April 29th, after winning another three points against Sliema Wanderers.Valletta are coming from a series of twenty six positive results, winning all last seven matches. During their last match they won another three points against Floriana (1-0), Edmond Agius scored the important goal in the 38’ minute following a cross by Ousseni Zongo.
Valletta mentor Jesmond Zerafa, should have all players at his disposal for today’s match.
After losing the previous game against Birkirkara (0-2), Hibernians returned to winning ways on their last match, defeating Balzan Y. 3-0.
Valletta and Hibernians already met three times this season. On the first meeting the Paolities won the encounter 2-0, the second meeting between the two teams ended in a 1-1 result while Valletta won the last match 3-2.
