Preview: 21st Match vs Balzan Y Published on: 02-02-2013

On Sunday at the Hibs Ground, Valletta will play their 2nd last game of the second round against Balzan Youths.

Balzan are occupying the 8th place of the table with 26 points, they can hardly repeat what they did last year by ending up with the first six. Although mathematically they still have a slight chance by winning their next two games while Mosta, Sliema and Qormi lose their remaining two games.

In our last encounter against Balzan, we just managed to get one point from the three available, in a game with two faces played at the Hamrun ground on the 2nd of November. From this game nothing less than 3 points will satisfy us, as we cannot afford to drop any points from the coming two games.
Mark Miller shall prepare his squad for this game without the Captain and Malta International Rodrick Briffa, which is recovering from a muscular injury and without the suspended Denni Rocha Dos Santos which will be out again on the last out of three matches ban.
The Gaffer will be having available a new foreign player our last minute signing of the January transfer window namely ABUBAKAR BELLO OSAGIE.

On the supporters side, you mean so much to us that without you we will not be complete. I am more than sure that on Sunday you will be there supporting us as usual. I wish to thank you all for what you do for our club.

See you on Sunday at the Hibernians Stadium.
