Preview: 18th Match vs Birkirkara Published on: 11-01-2013
Saturday's game is another key game for us, as much as last week's match against Hibernians. Our next opponents Birkirkara are a team that although they lack of consistency, in my opinion the stripes are the team that can give us some hard time.
Along this week our Gaffer worked hard with the players and prepared the team to the full to face the Stripes and try to bring home a good result and a good performance like we did in our last game against Hibernians.
For this game we have to make it without our international midfield player Ryan Fenech as he got his fourth yellow card during the last game. Demba Toure' will be out of the squad too as his Medical Clearance Form was not accepted from MFA as it was sent by email.
On a positive side our striker Michael Mifsud can be in the squad after a month or so. On the other side B'Kara's Ryan Camenzuli is the only player suspended in this week's encounter against us.
I was so amazed last Saturday when I saw you all our supporters happy again, after a long negative spell which we past trough in the past couple of months. I am sure that you will be there again supporting our players with your chants and support like always.
