Valletta will be without midfielder Roderick Briffa as they target their 11th straight victory when taking on Mosta this weekend.
Briffa must serve a one-match ban but, on a more positive note, coach Paul Zammit welcomes back winger Umeh Calistus who missed the 2-0 win over Pembroke through suspension.
The City coach has no other selection problems as he looks to preserve his team’s four-point lead at the top.
Mosta are likely to be at full strength as Dyson Falzon has returned to training after recovering from a muscle injury.
Coach Ivan Zammit may give a chance to some foreign players who have had limited playing time with the Blues this season.
