Pietà Hotspurs have an arduous task on their hands to gain valuable points in their battle against
relegation when they take on champions Valletta.
Last week, the Hotspurs produced a battling display but their efforts were still not enough to avoid a 3-1 defeat to Hibernians.
However, their performance must have encouraged coach Noel Coleiro who will relish the chance
of upsetting the Citizens a second time this season after beating them in the first round.
Midfielder Ricardo Costa and winger Charles Newuche are pushing for a starting berth after coming on as second-half substitutes in the previous match.
Valletta will be in no mood to give away points as they look to keep the pressure on secondplaced
Birkirkara whom they trail by three points.
The Citizens are expected to have a full squad available as Steve Borg returns after missing the 4-0
victory over tarxien due to a onematch ban.
