Valletta left-back Ian Azzopardi is gunning for a first-team recall after suspension kept him out of the Birkirkara game.
Balzan coach Oliver Spiteri is still without Montenegrin strikers Bojan Kaljevic and Aleksandar Vujacic, both injured, but Colombian defender Elkin Serrano Valero returns from suspension.
Ryan Fenech is set to make his first appearance this season against his former club after completing his recovery from a hernia problem.
In midweek, Balzan edged Fgura United 1-0 in the FA Trophy.
