Preview 20th Match vs Birkirkara Published on: 10-02-2012

The third match from the end of the second round that will make us meet our Arch-rivals Birkirkar. Surely will be hoping for another three points in order to hold the advantage of four points on the nearest team Hibernians.

Ironically both Valletta and B'Kara had good wins in their last games. Valletta crushed Marsaxlokk with the score of 5-2 and B'kara won their encounter against Balzan with the convincing score of 4-0. Although the Stripes did not have a very good convincing time this season, I still truly consider them one of the best teams here in Malta.

Our coach Jesmond Zerafa will be having all the squad at his disposal for this fixture, he will also have the 2 newly signed foreign players namely Aleksandrs Cekulajevs and Italian defender Andrea Scozzese. Both players are eligible for Sunday's tough encounter.

Needless to say, this match will display a very tight encounter between these two elite teams who would be only happy if they grab the three points. A marvellous spirit, dedication and the sheer determination that our players have shown during this week gives me and my colleagues the total confidence that we can do it again against the yellows.

All our confidence is multiplied to paramount dimensions each and every time we look behind and see the massive up roaring crowd cheering through the whole 90 minutes. We together, are never say die until the final whistle of the last game.

Many thanks go to all of you our beloved supporters and we will continue to strive and give all the best for all of you.......
