Pietro Marino returns with Valletta Published on: 04-01-2015

Club general secreatry Joe Attard confirmed today that Italian goalkeeper Pietro will return with Valletta, he is expected to sign a deal this week. Pietro joined Valletta during the 2013 summer transfer market, he made his debut during a match in the Euro Challenge Cup competition against Hibernians (1-1).
Born on November 21, 1986 in Reggio Calabria, Italy Pietro Marino started his career with Reggina Calcio in 2006, making a total of 20 appearances. The following season Pietro was on loan with Castelnuovo a club based based in Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, Tuscany.
Pietro made his Serie A debut for Reggina Calcio on May 31, 2009 in a match against A.C. Siena.
In the 2009/10 Serie B season he became the first-choice goalkeeper for Reggina in December 2009 following the departure of team mates goalkeepers, Andrew Campagnolo and Christian Puggioni.
In season 2010-2011, Pietro was on loan with Nuova Cosenza Calcio a club, based in Cosenza, Calabria. In the following season Marino returned back with Reggina Caclio making a total of 13 appearances. During January 2012, Pietro moved to S.S. Barletta Calcio a club located in Barletta, Apulia.
