Michael Mifsud signs a new deal with Valletta F.C. Published on: 20-01-2016
National team captain Michael Mifsud earlier today signed a new deal with Valletta F.C. Michael succeeded in obtaining his release from Sliema Wanderers yesterday.
This will be Michael’s second spell with the Citizens, he already played with Valletta from 2011 till 2013, scoring a total of 28 goals.
Valletta F.C. club officials earlier today handed Mifsud’s registration to the Malta Football Association. Negotiations between the two clubs were lead by Valletta F.C.’s team manager Jerry Ellul. Michael signed a two and a half year deal with Valletta till May 2018.
