Llywelyn Cremona joins Birkirkara FC Published on: 05-07-2017



Midfielder Llywelyn Cremona signed a three-year deal with Birkirkara FC. 
 
A product of Valletta Nursery, llywelyn joined the Valletta FC Youth Nursery at the age of 4. At the tender age of 12 he was chosen with the National Team U13 squad. Later he also formed part of the U17, U18 and U19 National Team squad.

Llywelyn made his debut in the Premier League on September 10th, 2011 in a match against Qormi FC. Llywelyn came in as a substitute during the second half.

In June 2012, he was voted U17 Player of the Year during the Replay Gala Night.

During season 2012-2013, Llywelyn formed part of the Valletta F.C. minor squad. In June 2013, Llywelyn Cremona won the Best Youth Player award during the MFA Awards.


In season 2013-2014, Llywelyn made his international debut with Valletta FC, during the first leg of the UEFA Europa League against La Fiorita.

Cremona is the second player to join Birkirkara from Valletta, last month striker Luke Montebello also joined the Stripes.
