Liverpool ex academy player on trial with Valletta FC Published on: 04-01-2015

20 year old striker David Moli will be arriving in Malta on Monday and will be joining Valletta on trial. David played for the Liverpool Academy as a striker from 2009 until 2012.

The highly-rated Moli signed for Liverpool in January 2009 from Luton Town, joining for an undisclosed fee. He is a tall, powerful striker and has been prolific for the Liverpool under-16s. He made his step up to the under-18 team in 2011. During the 2011-12 pre season, Moli attracted attention after netting two hat tricks in one match

His exploits for the Academy brought Moli to the attention of Wolves, and in January 2012, Moli signed a professional contract with the Molineux outfit and was a regular in the under-21 side.
Moli had a loan spell with Boreham Wood FC in 2013 and was part of the Wood side that just failed to cause an FA Cup upset in Carlisle.
Following his release from Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the season Moli was a free agent and signed a deal with Boreham FC last September.
