Former Valletta FC president Charles Camilleri passes away Published on: 08-08-2015

Charles Camilleri, former president of Valletta FC passed away early this afternoon aged 60.
Charles Camilleri was president of Valletta FC between 2004-2007, he was elected president of Valletta FC in 2003 following the departure of Joe Caruana Curran.
Camilleri succeeded in bringing stability back to Valletta FC during the period when the Citizens were facing financial difficulties.
Camilleri left his post as club president in summer of 2007, making way for Victor Sciriha.
Charles Camilleri also served as president of La Vallette Philharmonic Society.
His funeral is being held on Monday at 2pm at St Paul's Shipwreck Church in Valletta.
