City’s influential captain and midfielder Ryan Fenech and international defender Steve Borg received a one match suspension by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner today. Ryan collected his fourth yellow card during the last match against Naxxar (1-2), while Steve Borg was shown a red card for a second booking by the Referee.Both players will miss the next match against Tarxien.
Assistant coach Gilbert Agius received a one year suspension. Gilbert was sent off during the second half of the match against Naxxar by referee Mario Apap.
