Midfielder Ennio Hamutenya has joined Naxxar Lions on loan. Namibian footballer Ennio Hamutenya signed a contract with Valletta FC last November. Ennio, is the younger brother to Miguel Hamutenya, who plays for Hönefoss BK in the Norwegian first division. Before joining Valletta F.C. Ennio spent three weeks on trial with A.C. Milan but despite having successfully completed the trials, Milan could not sign due to Namibia’s poor ranking on the FIFA world rankings.
The Nambian midfielder is expected to make his debut with Naxxar Lions next Sunday against his former club Valletta.
