Edmond Agius joins Birkirkara Published on: 21-06-2014
Valletta FC today released midfieler Edmond Agius, as he is heading off to new pastures with Birkikara FC.
Edmond began his football career playing for Hibernians and made his debut in the Premier League in 2005. With Hibernians he played a total of 41 matches and scored three goals.
Il-Mundu as he is better known, joined Valletta FC in June 2008. With Valletta F.C. Edmond won three Championships 2010-2011, 2011-2012 and 2013-2014.
Can I ask all at Valletta FC to please join me in wishing Edmond lots of luck with his new Club and thank him for his sterling efforts after his six year stint with our club.
