Yenz Cini celebrates his 19th birthday today.
A product of the Valletta Nursery, Yenz Cini started attending the Valletta Nursery at the tender age of four.
During his days at the Valletta Nursery, he won 2 Under 17 Leagues, 1 Under 17 Knockout and also the APS 100 Anniversary Cup.
Yenz also made 7 appearances with the National team. He also had a trial with Portsmouth FC and played against Reading and Tottenham.
Cini made his debut in the Premier League during the 2011-2012 season.
The Valletta born goalkeeper guarded the post during the Third Edition of the Gozo Cup. During the final held last Sunday, Yenz saved Sunday Baalaa’s attempt from the spot enabling the Citizens to win the Gozo Cup 6-5 on penalties.
