Roderick Briffa celebrates his 31st birthday today.
Briffa made his debut in the Maltese Premier League with his hometown team Birkirkara in 1998.
He joined Valletta in January 2009 and signed a four year contract. The international midfielder won the MFA footballer of the year in season 2010/11 and the championship in 2010/11 and 2011/12.
Roderick Briffa became captain of Valletta in June 2012. He was made captain by coach Mark Miller, replacing Gilbert Agius in the role.
Roderick forms part of the National squad and till today he already made 52 appearances.
