Valletta will meet Sliema W.in the final of the U*BET FA Trophy tomorrow at 19.30hrs.The match promises to be a tough match for both teams. Surely, a target for Valletta now would be that of winning the U*Bet FA Trophy.
The FA Trophy is the second major honour the local football offers and winning this honour also means securing a place in the first qualifying round of the Uefa Cup. Valletta have in the past won the FA Trophy eleven times. Sliema W reached the finals of the U*Bet FA Trophy after eliminating Marsaxlokk 4-3 through a penalty shootout. Valletta went through the finals after eliminating rivals Birkirkara 2-0.
Both teams will field their best teams possible.Paul Zammit the Citizen's coach should have all the squad at his disposal. Sliema W. are also expected to be in full squad.
Valletta met Sliema W. four times this season. In the first an second encounter between these two teams ended in a draw. Valletta won the third and fourth encounter 5-0 and 3-0 respectively.
