UEFA Europa League 2nd leg - KS Ruch Chorzow vs Valletta
Valletta will be aiming for a positive result on Thursday as they take Polish side KS Ruch Chorzow in the second leg of the second round of the Europa League at the Silesian Stadium in Chorzow kick-off 20:00hrs.Last week the Citizens shared the spoils in a 1-1 result against KS Ruch Chorzow. The Polish side managed to open the score on the 18th minute when Sebastian Olszar was brought down inside the box by Steve Bezzina, the referee ordered a penalty and Wojciech Grzyb made no mistake from the spot.
Valletta levelled matters following a cross from Denni Rocha Dos Santos to Terence Scerri who controlled the ball before placing it in the back of the net.
KS Ruch Chorzow will have goal keeper Krzysztof Pilarz missing, after the latter received a second yellow card during last Thursday’s match. Matko Perdijić will guard the posts instead for the Polish side. Striker Artur Sobiech is available after serving a one-match suspension.
