Preview Euro Challenge Cup Valletta vs Birkirkara
Valletta will be facing Champions Birkirkara in the second match of the Euro Challenge Cup. This competition is reserved for the three clubs’s taking part in the Champions League and Europa League. The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium kick-off 6.15pm.Jesmond Zerafa, the new Valletta FC coach will hope that tomorrow’s warm-up will show some useful indications about his players’ physical condition.
Ramon Dos Santos is expected to make his first appearance for the Lillywhites, Dos Santos will replace defender Luke Dimech after his contract expired at the end of the season. Brazilian striker Hercules Cardoso Ottoni is also expected to make his debut tomorrow, the Brazilian is currently on trial with the Citizens.
Midfielder Jamie Pace and defender Kenneth Scicluna are both doubtful for tomorrow’s match, both players are recovering from injuries. Njongo Priso is on vacation in Cameroon and therefore will not be available.
Angus Buhagiar and Joseph Zerafa return back for the Stripes after serving a one-match suspension. Midfielder Shaun Bajada is missing after receiving a red card during the first match played on Monday.
