Valletta face bottom placed Dingli Swallows tonight at 19.30hrs at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
The Citizens are coming from a positive result against Hamrun S. (4-0); they are second with 37 points. With a win against Dingli Swallows, the Citizens would move to the top with 40 points and start the Championship Pool together with Birkirkara with 20 points.
A number of key players are missing for the Citizens, captain Gilbert Agius, Terence Scerri and Njongo Priso are missing through suspension.
Dingli Swallows will have to do without Shawn Tellus, suspended. During the first meeting of the two teams last December, Valletta won the match 4-1; the scorers were Jordi Cruyff twice, Ian Zammit and Terence Scerri.
