Day 15: Valletta vs Msida SJ.
In the first match on Saturday at 14:00hrs Valletta meet Msida SJ FC. The Citizens failed to obtain the three points against Birkirkara last Monday, it was a flick by man of match Shaun Bajada that levelled the score for the Stripes.
Valletta are second behind leaders Hibernians in the BOV Premier League table with 30 points, Msida are coming from a series of positive results against Qormi (1-0) and Floriana (1-0) and are currently ranked sixth in the table with 21 points out of 14 matches.It will be another important match as Valletta can reduce the gap between leaders Hibernians to one point.
For Valletta, Njongo Priso returns after serving a two-match suspension. Yesterday Valletta FC transferred midfielder David Camilleri on loan with Tarxien Rainbows till the end of the season. Pedro Dos Santos Calcado is missing for the Saints after receiving his forth yellow card in the match against Qormi FC.
In the last match played in October, Valletta won the three points. Njongo Priso and Gilbert Agius scored for the Lilly Whites while Kurt Magro scored for the Saints.
