For the second time this season Valletta face Birkirkara tomorrow at 16:00hrs at the National Stadium. This match will be the second on the programme, with the match between Hibernians and Marsaxlokk preceeding.
 
Both teams are backed by fierce sporting rivalry which should be of no exception in tomorrow's match. As usual, a Valletta-B'Kara match, is expected to be a highly tense and contested match, considering the big sporting rivalry that exists between both sets of supporters.
 
Birkirkara are coming from two consecutive draws against Qormi (1-1) and Msida (2-2). On the other hand, Valletta are coming from three postitive results against Marsaxlokk, Hibernians and Tarxien Rainbows.
 
Valletta 's only absence from the squad is Njongo Priso, who is ruled out due to suspension. Edmond Agius should return for the Citzens after serving a one match suspension. All other players are expected to be available for Paul Zammit’s selection. On their part, Birkirkara have Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza and Ronni Hartvig missing for tomorrow’s match, both players received their fourth yellow card.
 
Valletta will surely be looking to grab the three points at stake, which puts them on top of the BOV Premier League table.
In the first round, the two teams shared the spoils in a 2-2 results, Shaun Bajada opened the score for the Stripes, Dyson Falzon leveled matters for the Lilly White’s. Njongo Priso gave Valletta the lead while Paul Fenech leveled the score for Birkirkara.
