Day 16: Valletta vs Hibernians
Champions Valletta face a difficult task tomorrow as they take on BOV Premier League leaders Hibernians. Originally this game was scheduled for Saturday 3 rd but due to the Citizens participation in the Trofeo dell' Adriatico in Ancona, Italy the match was rescheduled.
Valletta are currently third on 23 points while Hibernians are leaders with 25 points. Valletta are coming from a series of five positive results, Hibernians also won their last four matches.
Coach Paul Zammit should have full squad at his disposal. Luke Dimech and Ian Zammit return after serving a one match suspension. Edmond Agius and Stefan Giglio return also for the Lilly Whites after recovering from injuries. Argentian Sebastian Monesterolo and Brazilian Paolo Massaro will also make their debut for the Citizens tomorrow.
In the last match played between the two teams last September, the match ended 1-1. Terence Scerri opened the score for Hibernians while Njongo Priso leveled matters for Valletta.
