Following a 5-week lapse, Valletta will be back in action again in the BOV Premier League. The Citizens will meet Tarxien Rainbows on Tuesday at 18:30hrs at the Victor Tedesco Stadium Hamrun. The Citizens currently second in the BOV Premier League table will be hoping to return to winning ways after a negative result against Champions Hibernians on their last match.
Earlier this month Valletta FC terminated and released striker Geert Den Ouden. The Dutch striker failed to live up to expectations in the first few months of the season. The Citizens are expected to sign a new foreigner during January’s transfer window.
Tarxien Rainbows are currently seventh in the BOV Premier League table with eight points. The Rainbows failed to obtain the three points on their last match against Qormi 1-2.

The Citizens coach Ton Caanen should have all players at his disposal for tomorrow`s match.
The last league encounter between these two teams was played on the 18th January of this year. The Citizens won the encounter 3-1, Dyson Falzon, Ian Zammit and Gilbert Agius scored for the Citizens while Mark Tanti scored for the Rainbows.
