Day 05: Valletta vs Qormi
The BOV Premier League resumes tomorrow following a short break due to the National Team commitments in the final round of group 1 of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Valletta FC face Qormi FC in a top of the table clash at the National Stadium kick off 19:30 hrs. Both teams are leading the BOV Premier League table with 10 points. The Citizens are coming from a goalless result against Msida SJ while Qormi are coming from a 3-1 result against champions Hibernians.
During the summer transfer market Qormi FC strengthened their squad by signing a number of key players. Brazilian striker Camilo da Silva Sanvezzo left a great mark into the Qormi squad, Camilo already scored seven goals in four matches. For tomorrow’s match Coach Jesmond Zerafa should have all players at his disposal.
Coach Ton Caanen should have all players for tomorrow’s match. The last meeting between these two teams took place last February in the second round of the BOV Premier League; both teams shared the spoils in a goalless result.
