Day 16: Valletta vs Tarxien R.
Tomorrow’s match won’t be easy for Valletta as Tarxien are currently fighting to book a berth in the top six of the BOV Premier League. These last three games of the second round could be very important for the team led by Ton Caanen in their ambition to win the championship and therefore will fight hard to win the three points.
The Citizens are coming from three consecutive wins against Msida SJ, Qormi and Hibernians respectively. Tarxien are coming from two consecutive wins against Msida St.Joseph and Qormi respectively, and certainly their main objective is to complete a top six berth.
Luke Dimech will be missing for the Citizens; he will be serving a one game suspension. Jordi Cruyff is back to full fitness and likely to start after missing the Citizens' last five matches. Rainbows coach Noel Coleiro welcomes back midfielder David Camilleri and winger Gianluca Calabretta who missed the game against Qormi through suspension.
