Andrerson Andrade Antunes joins Valletta F.C.

Valletta yesterday evening submitted the registration of Brazilian Andrerson Andrade Antunes at the MFA.
The 29 year old Brazilian striker signed a contract with the Citizens till the end of the season.

Anderson started his career playing professionally in Mexico, and later he had four year stint in Brazil. In season 2006, he joined Japanese club Mito HollyHock making a total of 43 appearances and scoring 17 goals.

In January 2007, Antunes  joined Sagan Tosu, a club playing in the J. League Division 2. After seeing only limited matchplay for the first six months of his contract, on June 16, 2007, he joined Shimizu S-Pulse on loan. The move to Shizuoka was ultimately unsuccessful, and he joined J2 team Yokohama F.C. for the 2008 season. The move to Yokohama proved to be a more productive one than his previous two clubs, and he averaged a goal every two games.

Completing his Japanese contract, Anderson returned to Brazil in the summer of 2009, joining the team of Rio Branco de Andradas.
On 5 July 2009, Anderson joined El Zamalek a professional football club, based in Mit Oqba, Cairo. In September 2009, Anderson moved to Brujas FC of Costa Rica, scoring  eight goals in nine league matches.

In the beginning of season 2010, Anderson joined Daegu FC in South Korea, making a total of  8 appearances and scoring two goals. In summer 2010 he returned to his former club Brujas FC in Costa Rica.

On behalf of www.vallettafcofficial.net, I would like to wish Anderson the best of luck for his stay with our team.
