After playing in the second leg of the Champions League against FK Partizan Belgrade, Dutch goalkeeper Andre Krul ended his short spell with Valletta F.C. and joined Boyaca Chico F.C.

Boyacá Chicó Futbol Club is a Colombian football club based in the city of Tunja. The club was founded on March 26, 2002 in Bogotá as Deportivo Bogotá Chicó F.C. named after one of the city's neighborhoods. After gaining promotion from Primera B in 2003 and playing one more season in the capital, the club was relocated to its current ground and renamed Boyacá Chicó F.C. During the last season the club ended in the 11th position of the Primera.

Krul played six matches with the Citizens, two matches in the Euro Challenge Cup and four matches in the Champions League, making his debut against Hibernians (0-1).

During the European competition Andre Krul conceded seven goals in four matches.
