New Stadium Dream Fast Becoming A Reality Published on: 08-11-2012
Valletta FC`s dream of having its own football stadium and complex has moved closer to reality this week as detailed plans were submitted by architects Vella, Micallef & Associates to MEPA for approval of the construction of a Stadium at Hal Farrug Road, Luqa. Plans for a proposed new Stadium had been announced during the Club’s Annual General Meeting of Sunday 12th June 2011, when the Hon Clyde Puli, Parliamentary Secretary for Youth and Sports, presented the 49 year land lease to Club President Victor Sciriha.
The proposed stadium will have a total seating Capacity of 2372 and have a full size pitch of 68m x 105m.
Club President Mr Victor Sciriha encourages all Valletta Supporters and nearby residents to be part of this exciting new venture.
